Occupational Therapy and OT-Based Programs

Our OT staff has experience in DIR/Floortime work.  In addition to Occupational Therapy sessions we offer a variety of programs to target fine motor skills and sensory processing needs. These include: 

• OT Evaluations Evaluations are performed to help determine sensory and fine motor needs.
• Sensory Motor Groups
• Handwriting Without Tears Group This award winning handwriting program is used by school districts nationwide to develop handwriting skills.  Each session includes sensory motor activities to increase body awareness, motor planning and fine motor skills needed to improve handwriting skills.  Sessions include a fun arts and craft activity, games and handwriting tasks.  More information on this wonderful program can be found here.
