SUMMER ESY-Full and Half Day Options Available
Summer 2012: June 25th-August 3rd
Monday-Thursday/ 9:00am-3:00pm (half day available)
Friday/9:00am-12:00pm
Full day programming available and can include our afternoon programs, individual services or additional therapy services.
ESY Opportunities: Wanna play will provide extended school year programs which include academic,social and behavior support for students. Wanna Play staff will work with child's existing team including incorporation of the School District IEP, and wraparound services. When requested, progress monitoring may be available.
Summer ESY Program will include:
- Social concepts taught to build social skills for various age groups
- Behavioral support to provide strategies for successful participation in group settings
- Academic support based on individual need to maintain academic skills
- Sensory-based gross motor activities and OT Groups
- Activities based in play to support interaction and imaginative abilities.
This provides a well-rounded and positive learning experience, including use of our new wonderful outdoor space to help practice recess skills. Additional services and individual based therapies may be incorporated for an additional fee. Lunch Bunch will be available after ESY. Payment options include private pay and IU/school district contracts on a case-by-case basis. Grant Funding may be available through Department of Education.
